V Sinizter |
| Biography |
To fully understand this mysterious enigma in the underground acid rap/horrorcore scene today, you'll have to understand the complexities that encompass such a remarkably talented individual. Born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, V Sinizter began life already displaying talents far beyond the years of his peers of the time. While the toddlers fancied enacting heroic roles and playing with toys, V Sinizter got his start in being different from the norm by reading books on archaeology and dinosaurs in pre-school and kindergarten. This deviant behavior continued on throughout most of his early childhood, opting for the science and technology of man over the frivolity and innocence of youth. Because of this, his childhood was marked with ridicule from his peers in school. The point of no return came while he was a sixth grader in elementary in 1988. While some kids were content with video game systems and doing what normal adolescents did at the time, V Sinizter chose a more malevolent, ominous path that would have long lasting ramifications prior to him giving this time period up. For whatever reasons the universe deemed necessary, he got into witchcraft and occult sciences, pledging to conjure up demonic forces in a bid to overthrow the earth and rule alongside God's archenemy Satan. All this at the tender young age of 12. He practiced secret rites of darkness and was successful in one attempt at casting a spell, as documented in the song "Separation Anxiety" from Morning Star: Sins of An Angel. One classmate and friend of Sinizter's was eyewitness to this act and this changed his childhood life forever. One day while Sinizter was out of class, a student peered into his desk and found a book on witchcraft inside. From then on, the news spread throughout his school and abroad of V Sinizter's evil ways and students became terrified of the young burgeoning warlock. This made school attendance rough on V Sinizter, as taunts riddled the hallways of his practicing witchcraft and the finale came about when all evidence of demonic dabbling was discovered underneath his mattress at home. Needless to say, this satanic practice was halted swiftly and with extreme prejudice. Given the option of dying and suffering in an eternal inferno or going to Heaven, V Sinizter came to a crossroads in his life that ultimately put him in early unforeseen judgment before Lord God. Choosing to side with the Lord and seek repentance for his blasphemous ways, V Sinizter bid Satan adieu and chose the stoic path to truth and righteousness. Unfortunately, his newfound reputation would haunt him for years to come long after letting the practice of witchcraft and demon summoning behind him. It was getting into the nineties when critical points in his life would have a lasting impact. Still dodging taunts and jeers from his earlier time in Satanism, V Sinizter dealt with the harshness and cruelty of his peers as he ventured into middle school. This was a time he was influenced by many an outside force. The pain of betrayal, the gleam of latent secret crushes, the test of courage and so on and so forth. In 1991, he encountered one pivotal point when he laid eyes on one particular female that would become part of his life in many forms. This encounter with the girl whom he deemed "nothing short of being an angelic being from the good Lord Himself," was what helped inspire a since of passion within his tormented soul. This girl was given the nickname "Crystal Messiah," because of her natural beauty and benign nature and attitude. Another pivotal moment in his life was his encounter with acid rap head on. V Sinizter first dealt with it in his earlier years, and shunned it due to it's innovator being rumored to be a devil worshipper, in which Sinizter tried to shun away from at all costs. Him and his cousin Captain Kidd were staying with their other cousin in the city next to Saginaw, when one particular morning, Kidd was playing a particular album by the infamous Esham and for whatever reasons the universe governed, the words emanating from the speakers fixed their way into the consciousness of Sinizter and planted themselves into his soul. What was this he had heard? The rumors of the devil worshipping rapper he had desperately tried to ignore, were now planting their words into Sinizter's mind. How could this be? It was also in this time period Sinizter was introduced to gang life and many more turmoil's in his youth. His cousins being gang members inducted Sinizter into the life and this would hold a grip on his attitude towards things far into his years. There were also bad times with females. One in particular who legally made off with nearly 10 grand of support money for a child not of Sinizter's making, as documented on "Valentine's Day" on Morning Star: Sins of an Angel. With so much coming at him, and lies integrating itself within truth, the time for the military called upon him. After graduation and many trials and tribulations, Sinizter joined the Army and got married, still working on his blossoming rap career he picked up upon in his early years in High School. The woman he married would turn out to be the ultimate catalyst that sent Sinizter beyond the edge and into what he has become today. This woman gave him torment throughout the marriage causing him to finally snap. In one particular unforgiving moment, Sinizter attempted to murder his wayward wife. But what stopped him from receiving life in prison was the name uttered from his wife's gurgling tone as his hard calloused hands gripped tightly around her reddening neck; Nichole. The daughter they had conceived together in life would be the safeguard that prevented the reaper from seizing yet another victim. From then on, things would take a dramatic turn for the worse, as signs of infidelity became present and betrayal reared its demonically spawned head. All this, plus the strain of the workload from the military became too much and Sinizter started seeing visions and hearing voices. Was it his tired and fragile psychological state that made him hallucinate or was it something unwittingly opened forth from his time dabbling in the secret black arts of witchcraft. Either way, these visions and voices haunted him to no end and soon he seen it fit to check into a military mental health clinic before something worse would happen. It was here he would learn he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. It was a friend of his in the military by the name of Specialist Bradley that introduced him to the needed sedative to quiet the voices and visions that plagued Sinizter. This sedative was neither a legal or illegal drug. This sedative was the seductive world of strip clubs. This brought the evil side of Sinizter back in balance and awakened the jovial side as documented throughout Morning Star and Hunting Season. Things, though going from bad to worse still, were somewhat slightly positive enough for him to make a safe journey back to his hometown Saginaw (after doing a thirty day stretch to avoid going to trial before a jury and possibly losing, costing him his freedom and gaining 9 years in Leavenworth for three felony charges). Home wasn't too much better as his wayward wife and her newfound love followed suit. The tension in the city was thick as sightings of each other would institute nothing short of all out war (with one incident involving a knock on the door and guns drawn). Hooking up with his long time homie Mysta Nitti, Sinizter assumed the position of Vice President of Ghetto Records and founded the legendary underground super group Lethal Lega-C. It was around this time things were relatively calm but uncertain. It was also here Sinizter made his venture into the wicked underground and came across the legendary wicked rap group Bedlam. Pulling many strings, Sinizter managed to get Bedlam added to the roster and Mysta Nitti and him set forth on producing their classic album "Chemical Imbalancez Vol. 2." It was around Bedlam's "Shock Treatment" album that things became too much for Sinizter to handle at one time and in one fateful day, Sinizter and Ghetto Records parted ways. Now on his own and a future in doubt, Sinizter decided to put the mic down for a minute and focus on his two favorite secondary passions; comic book art and video game music. It was at one show thrown by Bedlam that Sinizter was asked to perform at, that the thought to pursue a solo career was formulated. At this show, a few admirers gave praise to Sinizter's stage performance and asked was there any solo material available. Like a match to a kerosene soaked forest, the desire to release his latent 5 book solo project came forth. Asking many for help to fund the studio time to create the album, Sinizter was turned away by a bevy of excuses, until he got help from his long time homie Dantastic. Both set out to create this album, with Sinizter providing half the money for studio time, the beats and the rapping, while Dan provided the other half of the money, help hyping Sinizter's stage performances and his opinion at times. It was around this time Fallen came in. With a quarter of the album done and Wickedstock 2 looming in the distance, Sinizter signed onto the blossoming label in hopes of a new direction and newfound freedom to express himself in whatever ways deemed necessary. By the first weeks of May 2002, Morning Star: Sins of An Angel was done and ready for the release party just weeks away. Everything seemed to be going perfectly with a new album looming, his association with Bedlam and an album he felt was ground breaking, but as fate had proved before, this would not be the case. The release party arrived and promotion was put into it heavily. Sinizter's expectations were high, but alas, the party didn't draw what he desired and this sent him reeling into a drunken pit of despair. He was extremely despondent over the turnout and contemplated leaving the music all together. But a chance encounter with one awed fan over his performance the night of the release changed his mind. The fan caught him and his boy Steve (Co-CEO of Deviant) and thanked him ecstatically. Sinizter was so touched by this sudden gesture, he elected to give the scene all he could and see what happens. This would be the underground history made at The Gathering of the Juggalos 2002. Miles away in Peoria, Illinois, Sinizter was awed at the world he encountered at the Gathering. So many painted faces and fans of underground music, this was all new to him. At this particular Gathering, they were holding an emcee competition that would give the winner a chance to sign with Psy to release an EP via online. Well seeing an opportunity, Sinizter signed up and was pitted against countless acts that had came from all around to hopefully gain a shot at the highly coveted prize. It was his time to perform in the auditions and with his man Dantastic, they gave everything in their performance to not only impress the judges but win over the audience as well. The auditions were won and in the finals it would be Sinizter against McNastee and Rottin. He had to clear his mind, because this was a now or never situation. Studying the previous nights performances by Twiztid adamantly, Sin and Dan exploded on the stage, knowing failure was not an option. The performances were over and he watched as then rival McNastee took the stage and the auditorium exploded. He watched all from behind the stage not motion forward to fairly judge the contest. Then he seen Rottin and their DJ rush the stage and throw an impromptu freestyle trying to win over the audience. Deciding he had to take matters in his own hands or lose the finals, Sinizter was given an opportunity to make his bid for cheers. He walked in front of the 3,000 juggalos present and got their attention. He called for the other performers to join him on stage and let the audience decide. First was McNastee. The audience erupted in many cheers seemingly sealing McNastee's win. Quieting the cheers down, Sinizter asked for the audiences vote on Rottin. The reaction was less than desirable and surely placed them out of contention for the win. As he was about to go on to himself, McNastee asked for the microphone and did the honors. The crowd erupted in the same level of loud cheers as for McNastee, but the cheering became louder and soon his name was being chanted and it echoed throughout the auditorium. He knew right then and there his goal was met head on and won and with the sentence "The juggalos have spoken." As the saying goes; the rest is history.
