timeline of K.G.P.
1992 - 1993 >> roots of K.G.P. started here...White G (Kapitol
G) released a solo called 'Neva Afraid' on Laraza Records...he was unsatisfied
with this and decided to create his own record company...Mentality Records was
born
1994 >> Kapitol G holds a basement audition for a band and
U.N.L.V. is formed...Kapitol produces and appears on the debut Mentality release
- Foevawikkked. Soon after the members go their own ways. Kapitol G is focusing
on a solo effort combinin' horror movies and rap into one combo...he meets up
with Curt D. (who was previously the #1 U.N.L.V. fan) and together they start
workin' on a full-length lp
1995 - 1996 >>
1995 - 1997 >> Dead Ratz tape is
released featuring a few headlining tracks from the up kummin Necrology
release...
Necrology is eventually released and becomes an underground classick selling out
within 2 weeks and earning K.G.P. a stable fan base K.G.P. is invited on a tour
with I.C.P. and the legendary House of Krazees...K.G.P. opens up for the clownz
at Hallowicked alongside the original HoK
1998 >> Kapitol G wants to get out of the music business
and puts a temporary stop to Mentality Records...Curt D. forms his own group
called Bedlam....by late 1998 Kapitol G returns to the scene and begins working
on new material
1999 >> Kapitol G recruits Onto and Spang forming a side
project on Mentality called Deadlokz...he also collaborates with Bedlam on a new
release entitled Acidikrevelationz
2000 >> Deadlokz is no longer...Kapitol G, Onto and
Destiny are workin' on a long anticipated lp -- HelluSiNatioN.
2001 >> HelluSiNation is released and becomes another
underground hit...Kapitol G announces that it will be his last album
2002
>> Kapitol G shows the world that he is not quite ready to retire tha wicked
shit. And hits tha studio to release a long anticipated album called tha UNGOD.
Tha album is released in July to internet fans and those among tha Gathering of
the Juggalos event, and becomes an instant favorite, topping tha 97 release of
Necrology. Tha official release date for Nationwide distribution of tha Ungod
is set for Sept. 24 2002.
2003 >> Whats
next, well... how about Tha follow up to Tha Ungod, Kapitol G will release
Sick Shitz and Porno Flickz. Not good enough? how about a
hellafied collab track on Defekt’s new album brought to
you by WidowMaker Productions, and a shit load of more collabs..
Well, it all came to an end when the BURN video appeared and shocked many of his
fans with the announcement of retirement..
Sick Shitz and Porno Flickz, which was almost completed earlier this year, will
never see the light of day as a full cd. Kap has officially retired from making
music.
Months later
KILLMUSICK.COM was born...
2004 >> Kap and
KillMusick.com are still going strong over a year later... Musick will always be
in his life, So why not share it with the rest of the world...
